Upper Division
| Ballet 3A | Students in this class have demonstrated a high degree of competence in Ballet 2B. A proficient level of ballet concepts, vocabulary, and technique must be demonstrated. |
| Ballet 3B | Students in this class go through a sound program of complex movements while attaining an appreciation of the art form. A proficient level of ballet concepts, vocabulary, and technique must be demonstrated. |
| Modern 3A | This class is for students who have completed extensive basics in modern dance. Students in this class will pursue more complex movements and various techniques and styles. |
| Modern 3B | Students in this class have demonstrated a high degree of competence in Modern Dance. Students will pursue more complex movements and various techniques and styles |
| Ballet 4 and Ballet 5 | Students in these classes make the commitment to intensive training. They will explore complex combinations and sequences that will help to build their ballet vocabulary. Some center work is done on Pointe. Students at these levels are required to take a weekly Pointe class. |
| Modern 4 and Modern 5 | These classes are for serious students who have danced for 3 or more years and have reached an advanced level. Emphasis is placed on proper alignment and development of a mature performance quality. |
| Pointe 1 & 2 - By Invitation Required for Levels 4 & 5 Ballet |
This is a beginner's Pointe class. Students must have a demonstrated proficient level of ballet technique, correct placement, and alignment. This class teaches the principles of Pointe work with an emphasis on improving strength and stability. It is normal for students to work at this level for at least two years. |
| Advanced Pointe - By Invitation Required for Levels 4 & 5 Ballet |
Must be an intermediate ballet student. Intensive class includes barre, center work, and classical variations. |
| Hip Hop 2 (11 and up) | A high-energy class that is a fusion of jazz and street moves danced to contemporary music. |
| Tap 3 | This class teaches the basic fundamental tap sounds and steps leading to advanced rhythms and syncopation. Emphasis is placed on proper body placement, positioning, weight shifts, clarity of tap sounds and rhythms. |
